CBBC, in partnership with the Los Angeles Public Library (LAPL), has participated in the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) BIG READ program since 2019.
Big Read broadens our understanding of our world, our communities, and ourselves through the joy of sharing a good book. A great book combines enrichment with enchantment. It awakens our imagination and enlarges our humanity. The NEA Big Read aims to inspire conversation and discovery.
